A few things to know.
Do I need Apple Music?
Ricorda works with your Apple Music library and the Apple Music catalog. Catalog streaming requires an Apple Music subscription. Access to music you already own depends on what is available in your Music library.
Does Ricorda work without Apple Intelligence?
Yes. Playback, library browsing, listening history, song credits, and many discovery tools do not depend on Apple Intelligence. Some intelligent features require a compatible device and availability.
Can I keep using the Apple Music app?
Absolutely. Use Ricorda’s widgets and Explore with Ricorda from Apple Music’s Share action. You can play individual discoveries in Apple Music directly from the extension. Sending a selection to Ricorda starts it when you open Ricorda.
How is my music information used?
Ricorda uses your library and listening history to personalize the experience, with local storage and iCloud sync where supported. Song lookups use Apple Music and Genius. Features such as weather request the permissions they need.
